Nobody has noticed the little Easter Egg that I mentioned! It has something to do with the last page and this page. I don’t want to give it away. If you’re interested, you may have to look back in the chapter a bit to figure it out. It’s nothing you need to notice, so maybe I should just shut my trap and let it be.
Hey! I am now selling shirts! They feature the new logo and come in a variety of styles. You can customize your shirt on Zazzle if you’re interested in getting one! I got one already and love it. Thanks for your support!
Again, a big thanks goes out to my friend Kate Lalime for making the new Paranormal Petunia logo 🙂
There is a form for “Characters” when I upload a comic page on WordPress. I usually write which characters are in the current page for cataloging purposes (e.g. Petunia, Tinsel, Ben). I put in “Petunia” for this one and then paused, holding back the impulse to write “Petunia, Petunia, Petunia, Petunia, Petunia, Petunia…”
You guys are so awesome with your theories. I love that you send them to me. It really makes my day to hear theories about something I am making. It’s just the best! I was thinking about how much fun it is to make comics while drawing this and planning out my next story after Paranormal Petunia. I even started doing the math in my head. Let’s say it takes 3 or so years to finish a graphic novel… If I keep going at this rate I can probably finish 10 before I am 60. Fingers-crossed that’s how this all goes down 🙂
Thanks everyone for your support and interest!
This isn’t related to the comic, but I finished the video game Life is Strange today. It’s without a doubt one of the best games I have ever played. The story is just so incredible. I can’t even describe the roller coaster of emotions I felt while playing it. It’s a point-and-click adventure game, so it’s not hard or anything. If you like the Telltale games (like The Walking Dead, The Wolf Among Us, Game of Thrones, etc.), you will definitely like this. If you haven’t played any Telltale games or this, then I don’t know what you’re doing with your life. I’m going to have to ask everyone who is reading this to stop what you’re doing and start playing Life is Strange. Then you have to tell me what you think of it. Go do it! Now!
There is not one thing,
Not the moon,
Not the sun,
Not the stars in the sky,
Not the clouds,
Not the wind,
Not the morning dove’s cry,
Never has there been such a thing,
Not the sea,
Not the tides,
Not the ocean wave’s crash,
Not a thing!
Not one thing!
More attractive than Julian’s mustache.
I was hashing out the ending of this story line and also the ending of Paranormal Petunia earlier this week and I think you will all be surprised. The comic itself won’t end for some time, but I do want to know how it will all end. My hope is that the comic will run its course and be an appropriate length for my first full graphic novel. Before I started Paranormal Petunia, my intention was to write a graphic novel in private and self publish it when it was done. I realized that it would take years and I would probably be anxious to share it. This webcomic format is much nicer. It also gives me structure in drawing it. Otherwise I’m sure I wouldn’t be able to keep up with drawing it regularly. I have gotten so far already! I know I can go the whole way. It’s more than I can ask for that people would read and enjoy a story that I wrote and illustrated, so thank you to everyone reading this.
