Nobody has noticed the little Easter Egg that I mentioned! It has something to do with the last page and this page. I don’t want to give it away. If you’re interested, you may have to look back in the chapter a bit to figure it out. It’s nothing you need to notice, so maybe I should just shut my trap and let it be.
What, will you go unto the Tower, my lord?
My lord protector needs will have it so.
I shall not sleep in quiet at the Tower.
Why, what should you fear?
Marry, my uncle Clarence’ angry ghost:
My grandam told me he was murdered there.
– Richard III, William Shakespeare
I try to put a lot of hidden hints and “Easter eggs” in the comic. Some of them you may have noticed, but there are a few that you probably haven’t. For example, there are some small tributes to my family that I have put in.
Nick – Nick is my brother’s name! By the way, none of these characters look or act like anyone I know, even if names are inspired by them.
Ryan Chiropractic – Petunia’s new office is in the same building as Ryan Chiropractic. I threw that in there because Ryan is my wife’s maiden name (and now ONE of her middle names :P).
There are many more, which I may outline in future posts!
I know I’ve been talking for the past couple pages about how I have been working hard to get these pages done so there won’t be any interruptions during my move. Well, I have! Unfortunately, I had a bit of a family emergency for a couple days, which may mean that this Saturday’s page will be delayed. I’m going to try to do it though! Don’t give up hope!
I’m moving to a new house soon and I’m hoping I won’t need to take a week or two off of updating the comic. My plan is to draw a bunch of pages in advance so the story won’t be uninterrupted. This mystery is going to be coming to an end in the next couple weeks. I have to keep the momentum going! Petunia has a lot more to do.
