Farewell Tinsel

c04-p46 Farewell Tinsel

And this is the end of chapter four! There’s a lot more to come, so please stick around. Tinsel says his farewell today, but may be back? Who knows?

“She”

A couple interesting reveals in the past few pages. I am answering questions with more questions, and I know that. Don’t worry, I fully intend to answer all the questions by the end (and I do know what’s going to happen). Hopefully it is all a mystery to you at this point. That’s definitely my goal here. Tinsel is totally a weirdo and there’s much more to him than just Singles Town and what we have seen so far. And clearly Tinsel isn’t the only one involved in this mess. There’s a she… No comment…

Oh! A special message for long-time reader and commenter “msouth”: You made a hilarious joke about Ben saying “arf” instead of “are” a few pages ago. I just want you to know that I had this panel about him being “her dog” in the script for a while, so that is part of why your little gag edit was so funny to me. Thanks again for that 😛

Sorry about the long wait for this page. Thanksgiving was busy and then we were moving to a new apartment! Our new place is great, but it was a ton of work. Even though everything was done by Monday, I couldn’t focus enough to work on the page. It’s great to be drawing again. I really missed it. Ideas about the story have been percolating in my head. It’s going to be a lot of fun putting it on paper.

I spent a lot of time thinking about this page and where to go from here. I am not sure if it’s too sudden or if things are happening too quickly, but I’m going for it! This was a potential ending page for the chapter, but I think there is some more to say. My wife pointed out that we need to know what happened to Tinsel. Is he dead? I guess I can’t leave you hanging about that. Stay tuned…

Just a heads up! I am moving next week and over the weekend. It’s also Thanksgiving, which usually means a lot less readers (in my experience). I am going to try to upload a new page on Tuesday, but I will likely need Saturday off and maybe the following Tuesday? Basically, don’t be alarmed if you are expecting a new page at some point within the next week and half and there isn’t one! I promise I won’t be gone long (if at all) and I will upload some juicy new pages for sure!

The Thud of a Head

I think I’ve accidentally made this bathroom door a push and then a pull and then a push again. Maybe it’s both? Either way, these Petunias clearly don’t know how to operate it.

Hey people who read the comic but never comment, I’d love to hear from you! Don’t be afraid to join the conversation. What do you think of the comic? Do you have any advice for me? All thoughts are welcome 🙂

There is a form for “Characters” when I upload a comic page on WordPress. I usually write which characters are in the current page for cataloging purposes (e.g. Petunia, Tinsel, Ben). I put in “Petunia” for this one and then paused, holding back the impulse to write “Petunia, Petunia, Petunia, Petunia, Petunia, Petunia…”

You guys are so awesome with your theories. I love that you send them to me. It really makes my day to hear theories about something I am making. It’s just the best! I was thinking about how much fun it is to make comics while drawing this and planning out my next story after Paranormal Petunia. I even started doing the math in my head. Let’s say it takes 3 or so years to finish a graphic novel… If I keep going at this rate I can probably finish 10 before I am 60. Fingers-crossed that’s how this all goes down 🙂

Thanks everyone for your support and interest!

A single kick. A single swift kick to the face is all Petunia needs to keep these creeps in place.
